I thought I would start off with the cake I'm most famous for, my 3-tier impressionist cake, aka the Van Gogh or starry night cake. This was actually my own brain child, executed on a Styrofoam display cake. I was inspired by the impressionist and post impressionist collection I saw while visiting the Musee d'Orsay in Paris.
This is the image usually found floating around, even making an appearance on cake wrecks (in a good way). What most people don't realize, is that the bottom 2 tiers are different Monet paintings.

This cake also inspired what became my favorite cake to date, this time made actually edible. Claude Monet Tulip Fields With The Rijnsburg Windmill.
i think the cake is really beautiful.
